I wanted to purchase this at Wal-Mart, but they quit carrying it. It was a bit more on this site for shipping, but it was worth it. It works very well, easily, and is nice looking. I don’t use the toaster much, but have a few times, and it works just dandy. I’m very happy with this machine. (LG makes a more expensive but less powerful one, btw.) I’m real happy with this purchase and would buy again. I’ve had it for about 3 months now I think.

Got this to replace a similar Kenmore when the microwave on it died. It is a compromise, neither microwave or toaster get top marks, but if you want to save counter space it will do. I like the fact that the toaster shows the time and counts down, the Kenmore didn’t do that. The microwave beeps again after a while if you don’t open the door. The Kenmore stopped beeping when you opened the door, the Daewoo keeps beeping, so I stop it with 1 second to go and hit cancel to quiet it. Toaster is not particularly even, but I like the door operation better than the Kenmore, the KM opened from the bottom, and to close it you tended to slam it as there wasn’t anything to hold onto while closing it. I am satisfied with the Daewoo.

The toaster works ok but does not brown as well as I would like. A little hard to put bread in and good luck if a piece breaks off in toaster. The metal in toaster gets hot. I would not recommend this for families with small kids. It is great for when you just have 2 pieces or one long piece of bread to toast. I have it built in above the counter and it looks great. The microwave works fine.

All Daewoo Electronics products are total junk. Parts are not available from Daewoo or anywhere else because they are a totally bogus company. Do not waste your money on anything made by Daewoo.

It takes probably about three times as long as a normal toaster, but the toast/waffles/etc. come out burnt on the outside and cold on the inside, no matter what level you use. It also makes a weird whirring sound while toasting and emits an unpleasant odor.
